Making the kids enjoy a party are really easier than making adults enjoy but still, you cannot take this for granted because kids also have a shorter attention span than adults. That is why you need to make sure that when you prepare for a party for them, it is everything they would want in a day of fun. Check out the things you need to ready for a kid’s birthday party.

Food
These are kids, prepare food that they will like. This is party, they can have some “fun” food this time. Ice cream, cake, barbeque, chips, burger, and other food that you know kids go for when they are out in the mall. Serve it there and the kids will surely not have enough. You can even stylize you food. For example, you can serve them some toasted bread done in the Mickey Mouse Toaster.

There is something else that I suggest you do. As much as possible, prepare your menu ahead and send it to parents. This way, the parents will be warned if you have something in your menu that their children cannot eat either because they have allergies or parents simply don’t like their kids eating it. Inform the parents they can write you back and you will try to adjust as much as they can.

Honey Dough Recipe
Why not allow the kids to make their own dough. They can decorate them and eat them when they are done. Prepare:
Ingredients:
* Half cup of smooth peanut butter
*Quarter cup of honey
* Half cup instant nonfat dry milk powder
Just mix all the ingredients to form a soft dough, ask the kids to shape it all they want. Prepare some marshmallow, raisins, chips, sprinkles, gummy and other stuff they can put on top. That is it, they can eat it when they are done.

Bad Trip To Jerusalem
Have several players and one less chair. Cover every chair with cloth. Start the music then stop it. As they all scramble for a chair, they will all discover that all chairs are made up of Styrofoam except one. The one who chooses a real chair wins. The rest falls down.

Also, do not ignore the food. I would suggest that even if you serve the “usual” party menu, try to perk up the food a bit by giving it a twist. You can serve them some toasted bread, for example, but done in the Mickey Mouse Toaster.
